Lisa Swanson finishes as SWPL2 joint top scorer

Lisa Swanson’s goal on the final day of the season may have helped give FC Kilmarnock all three points but it also served another purpose as she finished as the SWPL2’s joint top scorer for the season.

The Saltcoats attacker headed home a fine Kirsty Munro cross to ensure Killie ended the campaign with a 1-0 home win v Hamilton Accies.

It was Lisa’s 15th goal of the campaign and after the league rectified a system error, it means our forward shares the Golden Boot with Hamilton’s Dionne Brown.
