Kilmarnock Women secured all three points with an impressive attacking display, finding the net three times to round off a strong afternoon.

After some well-worked passes and getting beyond the Livingston defence, Crainie had a shot on target in the fourth minute. A good cross from Cullie saw Killie have another chance in the ninth minute, but the goalkeeper gathered the ball to deny Killie the opening goal.

In the 16th minute, Crainie had another effort, but it was cleared. Killie continued to attack well and created multiple chances. After a brilliant header from Erin O’Brien, the post denied her from opening the scoring in the 21st minute.

McLaughlin powered a header in from the back post following a corner, finding the back of the net to give Killie the lead in the 23rd minute.

After a cross from Cullie, Gray got on the end of it and lifted the ball over the goalkeeper into the top-right corner to double Killie’s advantage in the 39th minute.

Just before half-time, Kerrigan made a fantastic save to prevent Livingston from pulling one back.

Gray had an excellent effort in the 47th minute, but her strike went just over the crossbar.

Killie were awarded a penalty on the hour mark after Erin O’Brien was brought down inside the box. Cara Gray stepped up to take it, but the goalkeeper dived the right way to deny her from the spot.

Just two minutes later, Louise Cowan powered home a thunderous header to give Killie their third of the afternoon.

In the 72nd minute, Cara Gray and Louise Cowan made way for Rachel Osborne and Skye McDonald. Imogen Mooney was replaced by Lisa Kirwan in the 79th minute, before the final two substitutions of the afternoon saw Lori Craig and Corrine Mackenzie come on for Erin O’Brien and Kelsy Crainie in the 82nd minute.

Killie saw out the remainder of the match to secure all three points and round off an impressive performance.
