Frequently Asked Questions

“Where are The Killie Community based?”
We deliver across Ayrshire in local communities, schools, community venues, and through our Hub at Rugby Park. We also run activities in partnership settings depending on the programme.

“Do you have to be a Kilmarnock FC supporter to take part?”
Not at all. Football is a great way to connect with people, but our support is for everyone, regardless of whether you follow Kilmarnock FC or even like football.

“Does it cost money to take part?”
Most of our programmes are free to participants, thanks to grant funding, donations, and support from partners. Some activities may have small costs depending on what’s involved, and we’ll always be clear about that upfront.

How is The Killie Community funded?
We’re funded through a mix of programme grants (mostly national), donations, fundraising, and partnerships. This funding helps us keep programmes free or affordable and respond to what communities in Ayrshire need most.
