Free Study Hub for East Ayrshire pupils during exam leave

The Killie Community is opening its doors to local young people during exam season by providing a free dedicated study space at Rugby Park for pupils in S4-S6.

The Killie Community has launched a free new Study Hub for East Ayrshire pupils on study leave during the 2026 exam period.

Running until Friday 5 June (excluding Thursdays), the space will be open from 10am until 4pm at The Killie Community Hub on Rugby Road.

The initiative is open to pupils in S4-S6 and aims to provide a quiet, welcoming and reliable environment where young people can focus on studying during exam leave.

Facilities available include:

  • Quiet study areas
  • Free WiFi
  • Access to devices
  • Printing facilities
  • Desks and charging points
  • Complimentary tea, coffee, juice and healthy snacks

No booking or referral is required, with young people able to drop in freely throughout the week.

For many local young people, having access to a quiet, reliable place to study can make a real difference during exam season.

As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting communities across Ayrshire, The Killie Community hopes the Study Hub will help create a positive and accessible environment for young people preparing for exams.

The Study Hub is located at:

The Killie Community Hub
11a Rugby Road
Kilmarnock
KA1 2DP

The Killie Community would encourage parents, carers, schools and the wider community to help spread awareness of the service.
