Your guide to the league opener


The 2023/24 league adventure starts at The BBSP Stadium, Rugby Park!

Kilmarnock commence the cinch Premiership campaign at home to Rangers, with more than 9,000 supporters set to get Rugby Park rocking for the 5.15pm kick-off on Saturday evening.

Take a look at the key matchday information below.

Ticket information

Season pass holders have been issued a link via email which can be used to secure tickets for friends and family. Non-season pass holders that have purchased two or more home end tickets from the club in the past four years can secure their seats in-person at the Killie Ticket Office.

Entry details

A substantial crowd is expected so it is recommended that fans arrive early to avoid queues: turnstiles will open at 3.45pm. Please note that turnstiles NE1/NE2 will not be in operation this weekend.

Fanzone

The Moffat Stand fanzone returns for the new season, opening at 4pm on Saturday. Bring the kids along early to try out the street pitch, inflatable dartboard, Hexagol arena and more!

Foodbank collection

The Killie Foodbanks team will also be back in position at the rear of the Moffat Stand from 3:30pm to kick-off. The most required items are dried pasta, beans, fruit, soup, custard, rice, veg, spaghetti, cold meat, stew, jam, crisps and pot noodles.

Killie Nation

The voice of Rugby Park, Elliot Boyce, will be speaking to the Killie Nation around town ahead of kick-off. Keep an eye out for Elliot or tune-in to the club’s social channels to hear the thoughts of fellow supporters throughout the day.

What to wear

The Super Killie will be kitted out in their traditional blue and white stripes on Saturday, so make sure you come dressed for the occasion. The Killie Superstore will be open form 10am. You can also shop online – HERE.

Killie Magazine

Killie TV

John Barnes is back in the hot seat this season and will be joined by Scottish Cup winning Assistant Manager, Gerry McCabe. The match will be broadcast to international subscribers who can view coverage as part of their package by logging into Killie TV as normal, while UK subscribers can tune-in for live audio.

Derek McInnes believes that landing a blow on the opening day of the season would continue to boost confidence around Rugby Park, as he admits that getting results against Glasgow clubs is an “itch that we need to scratch.”
