Squad update: Dundee United (H)

We’d like to offer the following update to supporters regarding our squad availability as we head into our final match in September.

Lewis Mayo is set to be back in contention for our clash against Dundee United this weekend, with Brad Lyons also being eligible after serving a two-match suspension.

Liam Donnelly will be back in full training tomorrow so will be available for Saturday after picking up an injury against Copenhagen.

Joe Wright is serving the first match of his suspension and Kyle Magennis remains out.

On Magennis, Derek McInnes said: “Kyle is slowly coming on, we’re trying find the best practice for him in terms of being available to us on a Saturday.

“He’s managed to put some good training days together but we need to make sure [of his fitness], his training week might look a bit different to others.

“Kyle is working extremely hard, it’s a reminder how precious the job is for players, how much you should enjoy being out on the pitch and being fit.

“Hopefully by the time we come out the next international break he will be available to us.”
