Following tonight’s Europa Conference League qualifier involving Hibernian, it can now be confirmed that our upcoming William Hill Scottish Premiership fixture against the Edinburgh club has been postponed.
This is because, as agreed between SPFL clubs from the outset of the season, Hibs are entitled to one postponement without the need for the agreement of their opponents to aid their efforts of reaching the league phase of the competition, having progressed to the play-off round next week.
This policy was approved by the SPFL Board in April 2025, following a recommendation from the Competitions Working Group, to support clubs aiming to reach the league phase of UEFA competitions.
Our trip to Easter Road will now be played on the midweek of September 8/9 or 15/16.
