MP helps Worksmart with Rugby Park renovations
He’s more used to taking his place in the home stands but Alan Brown MP enjoyed a different Rugby Park experience as he helped break ground on Phase Two of our Hospitality Suite renovations.
The club and Worksmart were thrilled to welcome the local politician this morning as he took part in the ‘Walk In My Shoes’ week, which allows Alan to try his hand at a range of tasks with various businesses around his constituency.
Having improved our Chairman’s Club, Legends’ Lounge and Champions’ Lounge last summer, the Worksmart team are reviving our Sports Bar and Park Suite to ensure our fans enjoy the ultimate Killie experience in hospitality.
Worksmart Managing Director Steve Neilson said: “As a proud partner of the football club, I’m delighted that Alan could join the Worksmart team to help us out on Phase 2 of our Renovation works in the stadium’s hospitality lounges.
“With the success of the refurbished Chairman’s Club, Legends’ Lounge and Champions’ Lounge, we can’t wait for everything to be unveiled at the beginning of next season.
“We hope Alan enjoyed a glimpse into a working day with the Worksmart team and are delighted he joined us for the morning.”
Speaking about his experience, the MP for Kilmarnock and Loudoun added: “It was great to get a sneak peek on what will be on offer for supporters venturing to the hospitality and corporate suites next season.
“The renovation work so far from Worksmart has been top class and professional, which coincidentally is very fitting for Kilmarnock Football Club. Killie are going from strength to strength and this work reflects the nature of the club at this moment in time.
“It’s brilliant that Kilmarnock is using a local company like Worksmart to carry out the work and I’m glad to see the club maintaining its strong community links.
“I’d like to thank all the guys from Worksmart for giving me a glimpse of some of the work they do and Kilmarnock Football Club for being so accommodating during my visit.”
