Match preview: Ross County (A)
Kilmarnock head north to Dingwall as we get set to face Ross County this weekend.
We are aiming to make it seven matches unbeaten and three wins in a row as we take on the Staggies.
County head into this match winless in four – and with just one win in their last 10 matches, a home victory against Dundee which is their solitary Scottish Premiership victory of the season.
There was nothing to separate the sides in our three matches last season. It was one win apiece between the pair last year – and a draw in the other clash.
Our record at the Global Energy Stadium is hardly worth shouting about – we have failed to win in Dingwall since March 2017 under then-caretaker Lee McCulloch.
We will be hoping to reverse our fortunes on Saturday – with that aforementioned result being our only victory in Dingwall for over 10 years.
Previous meeting
We last faced the Staggies in April as a Kyle Vassell second half strike separated the sides as we emerged victorious with a 1-0 win.
Our last trip to the Global Energy Stadium was a 0-0 draw in November.
Last match: Ross County
County are licking their wounds after a disappointing 3-0 defeat away to St Johnstone last week.
Benjamin Kimpioka scored a brace which was complemented by a late Mackenzie Kirk strike.
It was a tough afternoon for the Dingwall side who were reduced to nine men after Charlie Telfer and Elijah Campbell were sent off.
Last match: Killie
Last weekend we bagged a well-deserved late victory at home to Rangers.
Marley Watkins scored the vital goal four minutes from time – but anyone at the game would agree that a higher margin of victory would have been fair.
Last 5 form:
