Marley Watkins signs new two-year deal

We are delighted to announce that Marley Watkins has signed a new two-year contract, pending SFA approval.

Our Player of the Year comes fresh off a season as the club’s top scorer, and now he’s committed his future to Rugby Park.

The striker bagged 13 goals in blue and white stripes last season, and he’ll be hoping to better that in the upcoming campaign ahead of our Europa League clashes.

On the deal, boss Derek McInnes said: “We are delighted to have him back, everyone connected with the club is delighted to have the opportunity to work with Marley longer.

“I think in his season with us last year he showed show much of his best qualities, he was a pivotal figure in a successful campaign.

“Being able to bring him back to the squad is a huge lift for us, hopefully he can be as important for us this season, I have no doubts that’ll be the case.”
