Kilmarnock B 5-2 East Stirlingshire
Killie B are through to the third round of the SPFL Trust Trophy after a 5-2 win over lowland league side East Stirlingshire
The lowland league side opened the scoring and looked a solid side throughout, however, Killie responded rapidly with quick fire goals from Steven Warnock and Bobby Wales to give Killie the lead.
The first half goals kept flying in, with The Shire drawing level before a looping header from Chris Stokes on his return from injury gave Killie a 3-2 lead at half time.
The second half was a more tight affair, going 20 minutes without a goal for the first time in the match, Killie then grew into the game and dominated the ball and managed to add 2 more goals – a great team move finished by Kian Leslie and a fine strike from outside the box from Kirk McKnight safely saw Killie take their place in the next round of the SPFL Trust Trophy.
