Blackwood Plant Hire sign shirt sponsorship agreement

Kilmarnock FC are pleased to reveal that Blackwood Plant Hire has been signed up as the club’s new ‘bottom back of shirt’ commercial partner for the next three seasons.

Established in 1960, the family-run business has evolved into one of the largest plant hire companies in the UK. Specialists in the supply of operated and self-drive plant machinery, the company has supported their local club through a relationship which has spanned over the decades.

The strengthened partnership will now see first-team, reserve and under-18 squads proudly display Blackwood branding on the back of their shirts until 2025/26.

A growing association with the Stewarton-based business also further establishes Kilmarnock’s commitment to futureproof commercial operations by bolstering links with local businesses.

Paul McCormack, Managing Director of Blackwood Plant Hire, commented: “Having supported the club for several years now, I’m really looking forward to increasing our stake and developing the partnership with our local team.

“We have been part of the Killie family for a while now, and my kids are massive fans of the club. Both the club and my business have family values at their core, and there’s no better unison between us both. I can’t wait to see the brand on the bottom back of the shirts this season, and beyond.”

Supporters can now add Blackwood branding to their shirts by dropping into the Killie Superstore.
