Ayrshire Cancer Support Join The Killie Family

Kilmarnock FC are proud to welcome Ayrshire Cancer Support as the newest members of the club’s growing family of charity partners.

Ayrshire Cancer Support aims to improve the quality of life for those living with cancer by ensuring that support is readily available throughout the county. The charity has operated across the region for more than 40 years, delivering emotional support and practical help to local people affected by the illness, with all of their services provided free of charge.

Centres in Kilmarnock and Ayr offer a wide range of essential services, including counselling, support groups and complementary therapies, which are all delivered within a caring environment. A dedicated team of volunteer drivers also provide thousands of patients with vital transport to and from hospitals across Glasgow and Ayrshire.

The new partnership will see Ayrshire Cancer Support form Kilmarnock FC’s newest charity link, joining the Killie Community and Crosshouse Children’s Fund which have driven the club’s charity-based activity for a number of years.

Strengthening vital links across the community, the club proudly supports its valued charity partners through fundraising and awareness activities, with the purpose of making a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals in Ayrshire.

The Killie Community continues to lead the club’s charitable outreach through a wide variety of programmes designed to engage and inspire locals through the power of football.
