Kilmarnock 1-2 Dundee

Kilmarnock were knocked out of the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup by Dundee.

Dundee looked sure to score in the 4th minute as Tony Yogane fired a shot past Kelle Roos – but thankfully for Killie it was blocked off the line by Ethan Schilte-Brown.

Killie took the lead after 12 minutes when Dom Thompson fired home a bullet volley low in off both posts, leaving Jon McCracken helpless in the Dundee goal.

Ashley Hay almost scored soon into the second half with a nice header from a corner, but thankfully for Roos he watched it float on to the crossbar.

Yan Dhanda and Cameron Congreve were next to have attempts from distance – both went close but neither went in.

Dundee did then get their goal in the 69th minute when Ashley Hay smashed an effort past Roos into the net.

The hosts were reduced to 10 men after 80 minutes when Jack Thomson was shown a second yellow card by referee Colin Steven.

Then in stoppage-time Dundee scored a winner and Lewis Mayo was sent off.
