We return to Rugby Park this weekend as we host Dundee United in the Premier Sports Cup.

Last Time Out: Killie

Kilmarnock’s trip to Easter Road produced a spirited fightback. Trailing 2-0, Liam Polworth halved the deficit before the break to give the team momentum. After the restart, Ben Brannan produced a moment of magic, striking a first-time volley from the edge of the box that looped over the goalkeeper and into the top corner. Killie pressed for a winner and came close on several occasions but had to settle for a share of the spoils.

With confidence growing and the home crowd behind them, Killie will now be looking to turn that resilience into victory and progress to the next round of the Premier Sports Cup.

Last Time Out: Dundee Utd
Dundee United’s European journey came to an end after a penalty shootout defeat to Rapid Vienna in the UEFA Conference League. United led 2–0 in the first half thanks to a brace from Max Watters, but the Austrian side hit back with two goals of their own to level the tie.

With the score locked after extra time, the match went to penalties, where Rapid Vienna triumphed 5–4 to progress to the next round.
