Marcus Dackers signs with Kilmarnock

We are delighted to announce the signing of striker Marcus Dackers, who joins the club after most recently playing with Salford City.

The 6ft 7in striker arrives at BBSP Stadium, Rugby Park on a one-year deal, pending SFA approval, and the 22-year-old is eager to get started.

Speaking after finalising the move, Dackers said: “I am really happy to be here, it’s my first time in Scotland playing football.

“I spoke to the manager a few days ago and after that I just wanted to get the deal done.

“I’ve been on a lot of loans now and it feels like a new chapter in my career, it’s a good opportunity for me and I think it’s the right move for me at this point in my career.

Manager Stuart Kettlewell said: “Marcus is an exciting one that we are delighted to get over the line.

“His height will be a obvious advantage, but he brings much more than that and I’m confident he can complement our squad.
