Youth players sign first professional contract
A number of our youth prospects have penned their first professional contracts.
Reuben Cooper, Cole Burke and Archie Traynor have signed two-year deals until the end of the 2025/26 season.
Grant Marchant and Euan Bowie have signed up for a year, until 2025, as have Andrew Miller and Lewis Mackle.
Kilmarnock manager Derek McInnes said: “It’s great to keep so many of our great youngsters, there’s been a fair bit of interest in one or two of them, so the fact that the boys and their families have reached an agreement with the club is great.
“The fact we can keep them with Chris Burke’s Under 18s is important, they had a successful campaign, they have a good level of performance, we have got high hopes for these lads now they’re coming into a full-time environment, hopefully we will see them in a Kilmarnock first team shirt before too long.”
