Your Motherwell (A) Matchday Guide

On-form Kilmarnock travel to Fir Park for the second ‘Super Killie Away’ day of the league campaign on Saturday 25th August.

The 3pm kick-off will be shown live to international Killie TV customers, while UK-based subscribers can tune-in for audio presented by John Barnes and 1997 Scottish Cup winner Mark Reilly.

Comments from the camp

Previewing the match on Wednesday, Derek McInnes said: “I think the players should take a lot of confidence from how they’ve started, but Saturday presents a different challenge entirely and we’ve got to make sure we’re ready for that. We’ve obviously managed to beat Celtic in the cup, now it’s equally as important to focus on Motherwell and that message has been sent to the players.”

Remembering one of our own

Kilmarnock Football Club were devastated to learn that dedicated supporter Gordon Stirling had tragically passed away last week at the young age of 23. In memory of a loved member of the Killie family, both Kilmarnock FC and Motherwell FC are encouraging supporters to join a 60-second applause on the 23rd minute of this weekend’s match.
