February 3 2024 Under 18’s pick up well deserved late point at Celtic
Our Under 18’s picked up a crucial late draw away to Celtic last night.
The Glasgow side led 1-0 at Lennoxtown before Cole Burke fired home from the edge of the box with the last kick of the ball for a dramatic equaliser.
Under 18’s boss Chris Burke said: “It was such a great feeling seeing that goal go in, the boys never gave up and they were rewarded.
“Getting the point at the end was well deserved from the team.”
The point keeps us nine points clear of Aberdeen and Rangers at the top of the CAS Elite League, we welcome the latter to Rugby Park next Friday with a KO time TBC.
