Kilmarnock Football Club are pleased to announce that Steven Warnock has signed a one-year contract extension which will keep him at Rugby Park for the 2023/24 campaign.

A graduate of the club’s academy, Warnock joined Kilmarnock’s youth development pathway at the age of eight.

The young forward continued to progress this season by making his first-team league debut at Pittodrie in October, before joining F.C. Edinburgh for an impressive loan spell. The 19-year-old has also been a standout performer throughout Kilmarnock’s reserve campaign, having finished as joint top scorer in the successful SPFL Reserve Cup run.

Commenting on extending his stay, Warnock said: “The management team have made it clear how much they believe in me as a player, so I am over the moon to have the chance to repay them.

“It’s now my job to give everything to establish myself in the first-team next season and that’s an opportunity that I’m desperate to take.”
