May 4 2023 Remembering Jimmy Haswell
The thoughts of everyone at Kilmarnock Football Club will be with the family of James (Jimmy) Haswell this week on the 10th anniversary of his passing.
Jimmy passed away aged 48 after collapsing at our league game against Hibernian on 5th May 2013, with the match abandoned due to the tragedy being felt by everyone inside Rugby Park that afternoon.
As a truly dedicated and passionate follower of the club who missed just one match over a 17-year period, his loss is still felt around the stands to this day.
This Friday, our thoughts and prayers will remain with Jimmy’s family and friends, particularly his wife Aileen and daughters Nicola and Stephanie who will always be warmly welcomed by the club.
Jimmy will always be a part of Kilmarnock FC, forever and ever.
