Match report: Kilmarnock 2-1 Queen’s Park (Reserves)
Kilmarnock’s Reserves picked up an important last minute victory against Queen’s Park.
Ben Brannan went close after 16 minutes as he rifled a low free-kick towards goal, but it was tipped wide and out for a corner.
The visitors found themselves ahead just after the half-hour mark as Max Thompson finished well from close range, high into the top corner.
Ethan Brown had a good chance in the 42nd minute as he powerfully headed towards goal, but Queen’s Park goalkeeper Jack Wills saved well.
From the resulting corner, Brown did bag a goal as he smashed into the net off a defender to give Killie an equaliser just before half-time.
