Kilmarnock Women FC squad bolstered by new trio

The Kilmarnock Women FC squad has been bolstered by the addition of Jordan McLintock, Georgina McTear and Mhairi Crooks who have joined the first-team set up at Rugby Park.

24-year-old Jordan McLintock makes the move from Partick Thistle where she established herself as a versatile player who displays controlled composure in the midfield and attacking areas. Adding experience and creativity, it’s anticipated that Jordan will contribute to both the goals and assist tallies this season.

Also adding valuable experience to the team is 31-year-old defender Georgina McTear, whose excellent leadership qualities will help to guide the squad’s core group of young players. Georgina has completed a move from Gartcairn, where she displayed excellent reading of the game and aggressive defensive qualities.

A familiar face around Rugby Park, Mhairi Crooks returns to the club following a campaign disrupted by serious injury last term. The 21-year-old forward has since returned to full fitness after completing a grueling rehab. Possessing a real eye for goal and that ‘poachers’ instinct, Mhairi is set to add another option in attack.

Everyone at Kilmarnock Women FC would like to wish Jordan, Georgina and Mhairi the best of luck for their time at the club.
