KCST team get 1,000 kids active this Easter
Our KCST team partnered with East Ayrshire Active Schools this Easter to deliver activities to over 1,000 kids.
Our team travelled with our Hexagol to deliver fun and exciting football sessions to venues such as Loudoun Leisure Centre, Darvel Sports Centre, New Cumnock Primary, Netherthird Gardens, Doon Valley Leisure Centre, Auchinleck Primary and Drongan Primary.
Community Support Officer Grant Moore said: "We decided to do something different this year at Easter and we couldn’t have imagined how successful the programme would be.
"It allowed Kilmarnock FC to be represented across East Ayrshire and to be involved in giving and delivering sessions and free lunches to children.
"We were delighted to work with Active Schools and we’d like to thank all co-ordinators – Andrew Black, Scott Guy, Lynsey Hogg, Barry Holmes and Ross Stormouth who helped our staff across the fortnight.
"We look forward to doing many other future ventures with Active Schools."
