KCST join EAC and SFA for Easter Camp offerings

The Kilmarnock Community Sports Trust are heading across the county this Easter visiting schools in and around East Ayrshire in a bid to get more children leading fit and healthy lifestyles.

Our coaches are teaming up with East Ayrshire Council’s Vibrant Communities Actives Schools team and the team from the Scottish F.A. South West, to reach a wider target of children in the region.

Their “Spring into Sport” programme is focussed on making kids as active as they can be throughout the two-week holiday window. The KCST will be touring the area and you can track what they are up to using #TourDeAyrshire as our coaches take our Hexagol along to add some elements of fun competition to the programme.

Speaking about the new partnership, KCST Community Manager, Paul Di Giacomo said: “We have run Easter Camps for the last few years and are delighted to trial something new in the district alongside East Ayrshire Council and the Scottish F.A.

“This will allow us to reach a larger amount of children in the district and let the kids get the most from our coaches expertise and the equipment we have to offer, like our Hexagol unit.

“We are the first football club in Scotland to have our very own Hexagol unit and it’s a great way for kids to get active and keep fit.”

To track the guys whereabouts, make sure you follow them on line @KillieCommunity. They will be at the below locations over the next fortnight and keep your eyes peeled for some famous Killie faces popping up along the way.
