Karen Costello appointed Club Secretary

The Kilmarnock Football Club Limited is delighted to announce the appointment of Karen Costello as Club Secretary.

A respected and experienced figure in Scottish football, Karen was a member of the senior administration team at the Scottish FA for many years – managing player registrations and reporting directly to the president.

In her new role, Karen will oversee all football administration at the club; and spent her first day working to ensure our new signings were all registered before the deadline.

Kilmarnock director Cathy Jamieson was thrilled at the appointment.

“We’re delighted that Karen has joined Kilmarnock Football Club, and the board of directors wishes her a warm welcome to Rugby Park,” she told the club’s official website.

“Karen brings a wealth of experience to the job, and has already played a big part in the recent deadline day. We’re all looking forward to working with her.”

Karen echoed Cathy’s thoughts, and spoke of her delight at joining the club.

“I’m delighted to be joining Kilmarnock Football Club, and I’m very much looking forward to working with the board, the staff and the fans,” she said

“I’ve worked with the national teams at all levels, from youth teams to the men and women’s A squads.

“I’m looking forward to my first match against Hibernian next Saturday as Kilmarnock’s Club Secretary.”
