Community team start Galleon partnership

Our KCST team have continued their summer tour by creating a new partnership with the Galleon Leisure Centre.

Community staff were on hand to take our Hexagol facility to the centre’s summer Shipmates club with a super time of 36 seconds being posted.

East Ayrshire youngsters aged 5-16 came along to our sessions which included 5-A-Side tournaments and a shooting challenge.

Grant Moore, Community Support Officer, said “We are continually trying to grow partnerships within Kilmarnock and East Ayrshire and we’re delighted to add the Galleon Leisure Centre to this list.

“We had a meeting with David Hasson and we were thrilled that he was so keen to link up with us to take over a day at their camp.

“I’m sure this is the first of many collaborations together and is another step towards keeping the club and the KCST at the forefront of community activities in the area.”
