November 1 2019 Bruce to miss Dons match after appeal dismissed
Alex Bruce will miss Killie’s trip to face Aberdeen at Pittodrie after his midweek sending off was upheld.
The central defender was shown a straight red card by referee Don Robertson in our 2-1 loss to Motherwell at Fir Park after the official ruled Bruce had denied a clear goalscoring opportunity when challenging Christopher Long.
A Hampden hearing took place this evening with an independent panel ruling that the official was correct to show a red card.
