Greg Kiltie extends Killie deal
Greg Kiltie has agreed a one-year extension to his contract, Kilmarnock Football Club is happy to confirm.
The attacking midfielder re-joined his boyhood club last summer from St Mirren, initially signing a two-year deal.
Now, we are pleased to announce that Greg has signed a one-year extension, meaning he has committed to Killie until at least the summer of 2028.
The 29-year-old enjoyed a terrific first season back at BBSP Stadium Rugby Park, contributing with four goals and seven assists. He particularly shone brightly when his position was tweaked by Neil McCann when he and Billy Dodds were installed as the management team back in January.
Kiltie said: “I’m delighted to be staying for another year. The way we finished last season, it means there’s a feel-good factor moving into the next campaign, and we can go into it with optimism.
“We’ll be looking to do better than last season. We’ll try to kick on, and I’m really excited about what’s to come.”
Across his two spells in Ayrshire, Greg has contributed with 24 goals and 23 assists in his total 173 appearances.
He will report back for pre-season training towards the end of June, as the team begin their preparations for the new season, including a trip to Northern Ireland.
