Women’s Recreational Football

A relaxed, welcoming environment for Women of all abilities to enjoy football.

Whether you are completely new to the game or returning after time away, sessions focus on fun, fitness and confidence rather than competition. For those interested, there are opportunities to progress into local teams, but there is no pressure to do so.

Wellbeing classes

Circuits, Zumba, Yoga and more

Fun, inclusive fitness sessions delivered at The Killie Community Hub by our trained coaches. Circuits and Zumba offer a mix of structured exercise and upbeat activity, helping to improve fitness, energy levels and overall wellbeing. Sessions are suitable for all abilities and provide a supportive, social environment to stay active.

The Changing Room

The Changing Room, in partnership with SAMH, uses the power of football to bring together men struggling with their mental health. The Killie Community provide a safe place at Rugby Park for men to talk openly, share lived experiences and better self-manage their own mental health in order to support themselves and each other.

Email our SAMH trained facilitator, Daryl Knapp, to find out more.

Recovery Support

Our commitment to supporting the local recovery community includes peer support at our health walks, our Get Together community cafe, and free participation as part of our weekly Walking Football, all led by community staff, volunteers and partners with lived experience.

Our groups are welcoming and provide a consistent, weekly outlet to exercise with like-minded people. Working in partnership with the local recovery network, we also help raise awareness of local services and signpost to wellbeing support for local people in recovery from alcohol and drug addiction.

Walk & Talk

Walk and Talk

Killie’s Walk & Talk is a free health walk every Wednesday from 1pm–3pm. The walk is open to all, is facilitated by trained walk leaders, and is a simple but effective way to support both physical and mental wellbeing.

Participants take part in relaxed group walks while having the opportunity to chat and connect with others. The programme helps reduce isolation, improve mood and encourage regular movement in a friendly, informal setting.

Simply turn up on the day where one of our team will welcome you, or email team@killiecommunity.co.uk in advance to let us know you are coming along.
