This year, we need your help to bring Christmas cheer, kindness and compassion to local people who are most in need.

Here is how you can help.

kilmarnock FC Mission Christmas

Christmas can be the toughest time of year for older people living with loneliness, adults experiencing financial hardship and young families living in poverty.

We are looking for food, toiletries, or monetary donations to support our Mission Christmas initiative, which will pack over 500 care hampers for people and families across our local community.

This year, we need:

  • Soup; UHT milk; Tinned food/desserts; Pasta; Rice; Tea/coffee;
  • (Perishable food items are welcome and can be donated anytime if expiry date is not earlier than 27th Dec ’24)
  • Household items such as sanitary products, toilet roll and toiletries such as toothbrushes, toothpaste and shower gel.

You can drop off to The Killie Community Hub, 11a Rugby Road, Kilmarnock, Monday to Friday, 10am – 4pm.

Both Lads

To many children, particularly care experienced young people and care leavers, Christmas Day will simply be just another day.

The Killie Community are working with partners in East Ayrshire social work, the third sector and community groups to identify local young people who will likely go without a single gift this Christmas.

This year, we are asking you to:

  1. Pick a tag from the Killie Community Christmas Tree
  2. Buy or make a gift for the young person of your choice
  3. Wrap it, and deliver it back with original tag to The Killie Community Hub

Suggested value of gift: £10-£25

Our Christmas Tree with tags is at The Killie Community Hub, 11a Rugby Road, Monday to Friday, 10am – 4pm.

Each school holiday, The Killie Community opens up Rugby Park to welcome local young people, from all backgrounds and circumstances, to take part in free football, outdoor learning, and enjoy a healthy, nutritional footballers’ lunch each day.

Young people make new friends, meet their idols, and feel included as part of the football club.
