Calum Ferrie arrives at Killie

Kilmarnock Football Club is pleased to announce the arrival of Calum Ferrie, subject to international clearance.

The goalkeeper joins on a two-year deal after an undisclosed agreement was reached with Queen’s Park.

The 28-year-old previously worked with Neil McCann during a stint at Dundee while he was manager earlier in his career. They will now reunite at BBSP Stadium Rugby Park when the players and staff return for pre-season training next week.

The Englishman has plenty of Scottish football experience under his belt. He was also on the books of Stirling Albion and Falkirk and has 234 senior appearances to his name so far in his career – almost 200 of which came at The Spiders.

Calum famously played a vital role in helping Queen’s Park produce one of the biggest-ever Scottish Cup shocks when the Championship side knocked Rangers out of the Scottish Cup fifth round in 2025. He saved a last-minute penalty by James Tavernier to secure their passage to the quarter-finals of the competition.

Now, Calum is raring to go, getting his chance to ply his trade in the Scottish Premiership once again, working with Max Stryjek, Corey Armour and Dylan Brown as part of the goalkeeping unit under the watchful eye of Fraser Stewart.

“I’ve worked really hard to get an opportunity like this,” Calum told Killie TV. “I’m really excited to get going and to be at a Premiership club. I want to push and challenge myself, and it’s perfect timing.

“I’ve always known the size and stature of Killie in Scottish football. Being around the club, and speaking to others, I can tell it’s full of good people. With all of the work going on at the training ground, and the pitch, it’s going to set the club up for a considerable time. I’m fortunate enough that I’ll be able to take advantage of that as well.”
