Music at the Park raises £4,201 for Football Memories

The Killie Community and Alzheimer Scotland are delighted to announce that their joint fundraising event, Music at the Park, raised an incredible £4,201, with proceeds being shared equally between both charities.

Held at The Park Hotel on Thursday 28 May, the event welcomed 268 guests for an evening of live entertainment, community spirit and fundraising, all in support of two organisations committed to improving lives across Ayrshire.

Guests enjoyed performances from a talented line-up of entertainers including Stevie and the Ayrshire Ukulele Band, Joan and Her Angels, John Reid, Charlie Gorman, Jai McDowall and Jim McDowall, with Jonny Griffen hosting the evening. Attendees were also treated to tea, coffee and the famous Killie Pie, helping to create a memorable night for everyone involved.

The success of the event was made possible through the efforts of volunteers, performers, supporters and partners who generously gave their time and support.

Raising more than £4,000 for our two charities is a fantastic achievement, but just as importantly, the evening brought people together, created lasting memories and highlighted the difference we can make.”

Alzheimer Scotland’s Sheena Boyd praised the tremendous support shown by the local community and thanked everyone involved in making the evening possible. She highlighted the outstanding contribution of the performers, volunteers and organising teams, describing the final fundraising total as an incredible achievement and a reflection of the generosity and community spirit shown throughout the event.
