Kilmarnock 2-0 St Mirren

Kilmarnock made it back-to-back league wins with a 2-0 victory against St Mirren.

Chances were at a premium for the opening half-hour until Bruce Anderson found his way through on goal, his powerful shot was well saved by Shamal George but David Watson pounced on the rebound to slam home the opener.

Marcus Dackers then made it 2-0 in the 36th minute as he headed home brilliantly from a stunning James Brown cross, sending the hosts into half-time ahead.

Dackers had a couple of chances just after half-time as the ball fell to him twice nicely inside the area, but his initial effort was blocked on the line before his rebound fizzed narrowly wide.

Dackers almost turned provider as he skillfully turned to square a pass to substitute Djenairo Daniels, but he couldn’t quite keep his effort down.

Killie saw out the match in style however – it was a routine win in the end for Stuart Kettlewell’s side.
