First-Team Players Depart On International Duty
Kilmarnock Football Club would like to wish the best of luck to four first-team players as they depart on international duty today.
Following a strong start to the season which saw him wear the captain’s armband, Brad Lyons has earned his first-ever call up to the Northern Ireland squad. He will be joined at the camp by teammate Matty Kennedy who has been capped three times by his nation.
David Watson also leaves on international duty for the first time, having been selected to represent Billy Stark’s Scotland Under-19s side. David will travel to Belgium alongside fellow academy graduate Bobby Wales who will look to continue impressing at youth international level.
Northern Ireland:
- 7 September: Slovenia (Ljubljana)
- 10 September: Kazakhstan (Astana)
Scotland Under-19s:
- 6 September: Belgium (Hasselt)
- 9 September: Czech Republic (Hasselt)
