Comments from the camp

Ahead of the match, Derek McInnes insisted that, while he’s pleased with the team’s recent form, it’s too early to be taking much notice of league positioning:

“You don’t want to get too obsessed with the league table at this moment in time, but while we’re there let’s hang about as long as possible. I think we’re just looking for a bit more again and we’ll keep pushing the demands on the team. I want them to keep pushing their own individual performances.”

“Right across the board there have been improvements. I think you can see improvements in the squad, and there’s improvements in terms of wins, clean sheets, goals scored and points. There’s a lot we can be pleased about, but I still think there’s a bit more to come.”
