Youngsters set off for prestigious youth tournament
Kilmarnock Football Club’s Under-14 and Under 15 academy squads made the trip over to Northern Ireland on Sunday to compete in the SuperCupNI International Youth Football Tournament.
Formerly known as the Milk Cup, SuperCupNI is an annual competition which has built a reputation as one of the most revered and highly respected tournaments in the world.
Kicking off today (Monday 24th July), the academy aces will compete over the next three days, with spots in the Thursday and Friday schedule at stake. Led by the club’s Head of Academy, Paul Di Giacomo, a squad of academy coaches will support the team on their journey.
The club and academy would like to express great thanks to everyone that supported fundraising attempts which will ultimately enable youngsters to experience one of the sport’s most globally-renowned youth tournaments.
