We’re here to make a noise: away day playlist
An official Kilmarnock FC playlist has been produced by the players and backroom staff to drum up the pre-match atmosphere for supporters travelling to the Highlands on Friday evening.
Listeners can tune-in to hear Rugby Park classics from past eras, fused with locally composed tunes from the likes of Biffy Clyro. The collaborative album also features selections from Kitman Kev and the dressing room DJ, Danny Armstrong.
Headlined by fan favourites including Carnaval de Paris, and of course Paper Roses, the playlist will evolve between now and the end of the season through regular submissions made by members of the first-team squad.
Initially, supporters are being handed the power of the playlist, with additional suggestions now being requested on the club’s Twitter, Facebook and Instagram channels. Ahead of making your all-important pick, take some inspiration from the set below:
The classics: Paper Roses (Marie Osmond), Carnaval de Paris (Dario G)
Rugby Park throwbacks: The Final Countdown (Europe), The Boys Are Back in Town (Thin Lizzy)
The Kitman: Set Me Free (D.O.D), Sweat (Majestic & Karen Harding)
The dressing room DJ: Million Dollar Bill (Frankie Knuckles), Peru (R3hab remix), Afraid to Feel (LF System), Heat (Paul Woolford)
The fans’ choice: Let us know on Twitter, Facebook & Instagram!
