Trio to be assessed ahead of Livingston clash

Kilmarnock are assessing the fitness of three important players ahead of tomorrow night’s clash against Livingston.

Marley Watkins, Danny Armstrong and Matty Kennedy all sustained knocks against Motherwell and are yet to return to full training.

The trio will be assessed overnight before David Martindale’s side head to Ayrshire.

On the injuries, Derek McInnes said: “Matty Kennedy, Danny Armstrong and Marley Watkins [have knocks] from the weekend.

“We will need to see how they are, Marley and Danny were a bit earlier in the game, Matty was towards the end.

“All three have struggled a wee bit and not had full training before the game, we will see how they are tomorrow.

“There’s a chance all three make it, but there’s a chance one or two aren’t ready to take part in this one.”

Long-term absentees Brad Lyons [knee], Kyle Magennis [hamstring] and Robbie Deas [face] remain out.
