TrainMyAthlete partnership extended

Kilmarnock FC are pleased to have extended a partnership with TrainMyAthlete, which has been signed up as the club’s dedicated athlete management software provider for the next three years.

The strengthening relationship will enable Kilmarnock to continue streamlining the collection, visualisation and analysis of health and performance data, utilising TrainMyAthlete’s cutting-edge technology which has been backed by FIFA.

In addition to enhancing first-team activity, the centralised platform and player app will also support the club’s academy as it transitions back to Elite level next season.

Gregg McEwan, Kilmarnock FC’s General Manager, commented: “We’re looking forward to building on the strong relationship we’ve established with TrainMyAthlete, having been really impressed by Liam and his team last season.

“The growing partnership reflects our commitment to continue evolving the club through modern sports science technology which will support the health and performance of squads, from grassroots to first-team level.”

Liam Hayes, CEO of TrainMyAthlete, added: “We have really enjoyed working with the medical and sports science teams at Kilmarnock over the last year and we are delighted to continue this partnership over many years.

“The club is forward-thinking in understanding the benefits of centralising and analysing data to improve player welfare and performance. The extension of our partnership is testament to that.”
