Squad of former players reunite for Mavis

A team of former Killie stars reunited at Rugby Park on Thursday 4th May in support of Mark ‘Mavis’ Reilly who officially launched his book ‘The Lives of Reilly.’

Paul Wright, Pat Nevin, Gary Holt and Jim McIntyre were amongst those who dropped into the 1869 Suite to grab copies of the new publication and reminisce about their treasured days at the club.

Centred around comical stories and previously unheard dressing room anecdotes, the book is already proving to be a big hit with Killie fans who are gaining insight into that 1997 season and the unforgettable Tommy Burns era.

The Lives of Reilly also covers ground on Mavis’ global marathon endeavors by taking readers on a journey from the football pitch to the Sahara Desert, where he conquered the Marathon des Sables as part of fundraising efforts to support his daughter’s journey with Rett Syndrome.

Priced at £10, all proceeds raised from ‘The Lives of Reilly’ go to Reverse Rett, which is a charity focused on delivering treatments and a cure for Rett Syndrome.

A limited number of copies of The Lives of Reilly are available for purchase in the Killie Superstore, with additional copies available online here: www.namelesstownbooks.com
