Roshaun Mathurin joins Killie
Kilmarnock Football Club is thrilled to announce the signing of Roshaun Mathurin, subject to international clearance.
The 22-year-old winger joins Ayrshire’s only Premier club on a two-year deal until the summer of 2028.
Roshaun most recently played for AS Trenčín in the Slovak Super Liga before this move to BBSP Stadium Rugby Park.
He started out his professional career at Tottenham Hotspur, having also spent time at Chelsea during his academy days. After making numerous appearances for their Under-18s and 21s side, a switch to Crystal Palace was next, where he contributed with eight goals and nine assists in their U21s over a two-year period, with a loan to Hartlepool in 2025 to gain vital first team experience too.
Roshaun joined Trenčín last October as a free agent and went on to make 15 appearances for the club.
“I’m delighted to be here,” Roshaun said in his first Killie TV interview. “Towards the end of the season [in Slovakia] my agent told me there was interest from Kilmarnock, and so I spoke to the gaffer, and he was the number one reason for joining. I like his style of play, and that he used to be a winger himself.
“It’s a massive club, and I’m looking forward to getting into positions to help score and assist for the team. I’m exciting, I like to get at opposition players and to be energetic.”
Roshaun will join up with his new teammates for pre-season fitness testing this week and will wear the number 23 jersey for the 2026/27 season.
