Prom Appeal 2026

Kilmarnock FC and The Killie Community are supporting a new local initiative to help young people across Ayrshire attend their school prom with confidence.

The Prom Appeal, launched by Ms GB Ayrshire Finalist – and the club’s Events & Hospitality Manager – Claire Brawley, is calling on the community to donate formalwear and financial support to ensure no young person misses out on this important milestone.

The Killie Community, Kilmarnock FC’s partner charity, has been chosen by Claire as on of her chosen charities to support as part of her Ms GB Ayrshire campaign.

The appeal is already gathering momentum, with backing from across the club and wider community.

For many young people, prom is a key moment, a chance to celebrate the end of school with friends. But for some families, the cost of outfits can be a real challenge.

The Prom Appeal aims to remove that barrier by providing:

  • Prom dresses and suits
  • Shoes and accessories
  • Complete outfits that help young people feel confident and included

Working in partnership with The Killie Community, donations will be distributed to local young people who need them most.

How to support financially

If you’re unable to donate clothing, you can support the appeal through the official JustGiving page:

Financial contributions will help:

  • Purchase additional items and services (hair, make-up)
  • Ensure a full range of sizes and options
  • Support the delivery of the appeal locally

With support from fans, partners and the wider community, the aim is simple:
to make sure every young person who wants to attend their prom can do so feeling confident and included.
