Players depart on international duty


The club would like to wish the best of luck to five men’s and women’s first-team players who have departed on international duty.

Midfielders Brad Lyons and Matty Kennedy join up with the Northern Ireland squad for UEFA Euro 2024 qualifiers against San Marino and Slovenia. Brad rejoins the group with hopes of earning his first international cap, while Matty looks to add to his five previous appearances.

Bobby Wales and David Watson link up with Billy Stark’s Scotland Under-19s squad in Pinatar for friendly matches against Republic of Ireland and Portugal. The pair will unite with former teammate Charlie McArthur as part of a preparation camp ahead of the UEFA Euro 2024 Qualifying Round.

Kilmarnock Women FC winger Lucie Burns becomes the first graduate of the newly-formed Girls’ Academy to receive international recognition. Lucie has travelled to Cosenza with Scotland Women’s Under-17s for UEFA European Championship qualifiers against France, Slovenia and Italy.
