Pat Nevin: ‘Football And How To Survive It’

Kilmarnock icons of the 90s reunited at Rugby Park’s 1869 Suite in support of their former teammate Pat Nevin as he released his second autobiographical instalment, ‘Football and How to Survive It’.

Following on from ‘The accidental footballer’, which covered the ups and downs of life as an outsider at the top of the English game, Pat now turns attention to his return to Scotland; most notably a year in Ayrshire recalled as one of the most enjoyable in his career.

On his return to Rugby Park for the book launch, Pat took time to look back at one of the most iconic matches from his spell in the blue and white stripes; a 1-0 victory at Ibrox in May 1998. You can watch Pat relive the winning goal – HERE.

Limited copies of ‘Football and How to Survive It’ are available for purchase in the Killie Superstore.
