New captain and vice-captain appointed

Stuart Kettlewell has officially named his new captain and vice-captain for the season ahead.

Brad Lyons has been appointed as the new captain, and he will be deputised by new vice-captain Robbie Deas.

New captain Lyons said: “Being named captain of this great club is an honour, we have a fantastic team here and there’s plenty of leaders in the dressing room and there’s a l0t of great players too, we want to make sure it’s a successful season.”

And Deas said: I am delighted at being named vice-captain, there’s a lot of leaders in this dressing room and it’ll be a team effort throughout, now we need to focus on the task at hand starting with tomorrow’s match.”
