Motherwell 2-2 Kilmarnock
Kilmarnock secured a late point away to Motherwell to continue the unbeaten start to the season.
Liam Polworth went close with a shot from distance – it went narrowly wide of the post in the 13th minute.
David Watson found Djenairo Daniels in space with an inch-perfect pass two minutes later, the striker couldn’t find a way past Calum Ward with his shot though.
Daniels then got his goal in the 18th minute as he fired home a lovely weighted pass from captain Brad Lyons.
There was an incredible interception then run forward from Lewis Mayo just after the half-hour mark, he laid it off to Bruce Anderson but the striker’s shot was well saved.
Elijah Just was shaping up to fire a shot away in the 38th minute but Lewis Mayo’s body got right in the way with a brilliant block.
Motherwell leveled the score with the last kick of the first half as Tawanda Maswanhise took advantage of a rebound and fired home, making it 1-1 at half-time.
Motherwell fired themselves in front just after the hour mark, Emmanuel Longelo smashed an effort into the net to make it 2-1.
Killie equalised in the 81st minute as George Stanger took advantage of a spill by goalkeeper Ward, he finished well from close range.
Former Killie attacker Callum Hendry had a good chance from a free-kick in the 88th minute, but thankfully Max Stryjek watched it fly over his crossbar.
