Moldovan International winger Nicky Cleşcenco signs on permanent deal

We are delighted to announce the signing of Moldovan international winger Nicky Cleşcenco from FC Zimbru Chisinau of the Moldovan Super Liga.

The 24-year-old joins the Club on a permanent transfer until May 2027, subject to international clearance.

Born in Dublin, Cleşcenco qualifies internationally for Moldova and has already established himself at senior level, earning seven caps for the Moldovan national team.

Cleşcenco brings valuable European experience to BBSP Stadium, Rugby Park. He progressed through the youth ranks at Sporting Lisbon, one of Portugal’s most respected academies, before gaining further first-team experience with FC Sion in the Swiss Super League.

The winger has also enjoyed spells in Moldova with Petrocub Hincesti and most recently FC Zimbru Chisinau.
