Match preview: Hibernian (A)
William Hill Scottish Premiership: Matchday 2
Sunday, 3pm | Easter Road, Edinburgh
We hit the road on league duty for the first time this season as we head to the Capital to face Hibernian at Easter Road in our opening away fixture of the 2025/26 William Hill Scottish Premiership campaign.
The team are looking to get our first win of the league campaign and build from a 2-2 draw against Livingston at home last weekend. With a strong travelling support behind us, we’re aiming to bring the three points back to Ayrshire.
Last Time Out: Killie
It was a hard-fought contest at Rugby Park on the opening day, as goals from Djenairo Daniels and David Watson earned us a point in a 2-2 draw with Livingston.
Killie looked to be in control after racing into a 2-0 lead, but the game turned just after the hour mark when George Stanger was shown a red card for a challenge on former Killie striker Robbie Muirhead inside the box. Muirhead converted the resulting penalty to pull one back for the visitors, before Scott Pittman grabbed a late equaliser to deny us all three points.
Last Time Out: Hibs
Hibs earned an impressive 2-0 win away in Belgrade as they overcame Partizan in the first leg of their UEFA Europa Conference League third qualifying round tie.
Martin Boyle was the standout performer, scoring both goals to give the Edinburgh side a strong advantage ahead of the return leg at Easter Road.
