Match Preview: Hearts (A)

William Hill Scottish Premiership – Matchday 15

Wednesday 3rd  – December – 7:45pm | Tynecastle Park, Edinburgh

Last Time Out: Killie

Killie were held to a 1-1 draw against Dundee United, despite a strong showing at Rugby Park. Killie started brightly and survived an early scare when Tobi Oluwayemi saved a Max Watters penalty after Killie conceded a spot-kick. Ten minutes before the break, Killie won a penalty of their own Bruce Anderson’s initial effort was saved, but he reacted fastest to slam home the rebound and give Killie a half-time lead. Dundee United levelled just after the hour mark through Craig Sibbald, and despite continued effort from Killie, the match finished with the points shared.

Last Time Out: Hearts

Hearts and Motherwell played out a competitive but ultimately goalless 0-0 draw at Fir Park, with both sides improving after a dull first half but failing to find a breakthrough. Hearts created early chances through Braga and Milne, while Motherwell twice had goals ruled out for offside after VAR checks, the first from Callum Hendry and the second from Tawanda Maswanhise. The second half saw more open play, with Maswanhise and Elijah Just threatening for the hosts, but Hearts goalkeeper Alexander Schwolow proved the standout performer, producing three outstanding saves including denying Just, Fadinger, and a powerful Slattery free-kick to secure a point for the Jambos despite moments of chaos and pressure at both ends.
